Miasma is officially open and accepting character applications! Our community will remain closed for now, but we plan to open up invitations to other writers in a few weeks. With this decision, however, keep in mind that things here will be extremely slow plot-wise. Have patience for your fellow writers and enjoy your time with each other. Aside from that, a few other notes we'd like to address are outlined in our Discord announcements.

As Bayley ventured into the vast expanse of the grasslands, his sensitive paws could feel the softness of the grass beneath him. The scent of wildflowers wafted through the air, carrying the promise of new discoveries. Despite his inability to see, Bayley's excitement was palpable, his heart beating with a mix of anticipation and a hint of uncertainty.

With cautious steps, Bayley began to explore his surroundings, relying on his heightened senses to navigate the unfamiliar terrain. The gentle breeze whispered in his ears, carrying the rustling melodies of the grasses that danced and swayed in the open meadows. The vast openness of the grasslands made him feel both small and exhilarated, urging him to unleash the spirit of freedom that resided within him.

Bayley's longing to run and stretch his legs grew stronger with each passing moment. He yearned to feel the wind rushing through his fur, to experience the sheer joy of boundless movement. Though he sometimes felt left behind, in this new and vast landscape, he felt a renewed sense of possibility. The grasslands offered him the chance to be in tune with his instincts, to navigate through the world relying on his other senses, and to embrace the thrill of exploration.

He gave in after a little while, his paws itching for movement. Though he did not know the terrain he stretched out into a long run. He allowed himself the freedom he had not had in so long. If he ran into a tree, or a hole, or somehow fell... Well, it wouldn't be the first time. And so, like a puppy allowed loose for the first time, Bayley bounded through the grasses of the Steppes carelessly.
